Permanent Electoral Council

< Previous | Home | Next >

Now 20 years since the Haitian people approved the constitution; we still do not have the Permanent Electoral Council.

Why is that?

Are we waiting for the American troops with their guns pointing at us to force us to do it?

Mr. President, I understand how difficult it can be to get anything gone because of these narrow-minded politicians we have in the country.

If you can have this vital instittution (Permanent Electoral Council) set up, stability we are talking about will finally become a reality.

Now, you have the tool and the support you need to do that. If we establish the Permanent Electoral Council, the continuity of parliament will take priority over all else, and the constittutional reform will automatically take effect on its own because of the politician demagogues will be busy running for office instead of fighting the constituntional reform.

Thanks
