If this site do not belong to Preval nor his administration perhaps the readers should be notified so they could stop all those requests for jobs, libraries, favors, ...relating their ideas regarding tourism and the endless amount of flatteries and the Ra Ra Ra of those jockeying for positions.

It's just like I suspected.

This is a commercial venture.

I also suspect that if Preval allows his picture to be used perhaps he might be getting a percentage of the profits.

Everyone who spent a lot of time on this blog thinking that they could make a difference must be disappointed.

They should have realized by now that those requests were falling on dead ears. Regarding the Duvalier family they should all be afraid to die, every last one of them, because they are headed straight to hell. Rira bien qui rira le dernier! For all those who thought Papadoc was a great president because they felt a great sense of pride, when that maniac was attacking the elite.

Reverse the situation see how everyone of you would have felt if he was attacking your family, for what you earned for what you worked hard for. Now a lot of you are living in industrialized countries, maybe a lot of you have learned how hard it is to make a dollar.

Other countries are benefiting from Haitian doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers and intellectuals.

Haiti is descending slowly in a state of anarchy and hell. Tourists will not compromise their safety to go to Haiti, where they might get robbed, kidnapped, raped, and killed.

There are many other beautiful Caribbean islands to choose from. Let's face it my people, the last time I went to Haiti I could not breathe until I got to Kenscoff.

I could smell those stinking, suppurating roads inside the car with the windows shut and the air conditioning on. And the human body odor interspersed with the wafting odors of trash all over the place effectively cut off my appetite.

If you go to the countryside, you run into children at all stages of undress and beggars are everywhere.

No one can possibly enjoy such vacation.

People who used to have money are struggling middle class in Haiti after they sent their children abroad for their education.

Now they do not have any money left for retirement.

They have to depend on the good will of their children.

They have worked ten times harder than the average businessman in the US and now they do not any money left. Many people do not realize this because those people are still living in a nice house on the hills.

They are besiege by high taxes for their homes.

The people who got the hell out of that hell hole, are happy they left in the nick of time, before their family experienced some of the horrors that befell some of their friends.

Now some of those same (prideful) people hope to get a hand out from the diaspora.

There are not too many elite families left in Haiti for them to blame for their miseries and lack of progress.

Go figure how anyone can derive a sense of pride from a maniac systematically killing his own countrymen.

(Perhaps a lot of the elite had peau claire) but Duvalier killed a lot of peau noir also. We are all family to those same prideful people only when they want something for nothing from the rest of us.They have themselves to blame for letting themselves be conned by that maniac and the other con artists that came after him. The population has grown from 6 to 8 million people and there are no jobs, no education, no free technical training of any kind to help the less fortunate poor people to survive.

Can we really blame some of them who resort to crimes to survive.

I was looking at some of the kidnappers being interviewed, you could see the misery in their faces, the desperation that would lead someone to commit such cruelty.

The problem has been exacerbated by the introduction and the usage of drugs in Haiti also. I blame all the Duvaliers for looting the country for decades.
