I salute you patriocally.

I thank you for your kind words in regard to my letter to President Rene Garcia Preval.

When we first officially demanded restitution under Aristide's regime, the request has not been satisfied.

But that does not mean that we should give up. We must keep pressing, keep pressing and keep pressin on until victory.

I am a stong believer of this statement from Aristote:
"Moral excellence comes about as a result of habit.

We become just by doing just acts, temperate by doing temperate acts, brave by doing brave acts." Therefore, I want us to continue fighting until jusitice is served.

We can't get discouraged when the road gets rocky.

Tribulations will come but we must always remember that all the great fights were won through sacrifices and hardships.

Mrs Rama Yade is acting as an envoye of France regardless of her origin, sex, color and background.

Whatever she says bears responsibility of the great nation of France that she represents.

It does not fit well to listen to France lecturing us about how our dictators failed when they have supported many of these dictators in the past.

It does not fit well to hear France undermining the vision of Toussaint Louverture whom the defeated through lies and treachry.

History will always remember that Toussaint was the first black to govern Saint-Domingue and under his government all were united (White, Mulattos and Black).

That was the first time in history that ever happened.

Toussaint had saved the colony for France on several occasions from the spanish, the english and later the mulattos under the influence of Rigaud.

Mrs Rama Yade did not honor Toussaint when she said that he failed because he set his goals too high. I did not hear the voice of reconciliation.

I heard arrogance to say the least.

Now, when it comes to the excuse, it is my understanding that we must stand with dignity if we wish to be treated as such. I don't hope any potential relationship between Haiti and France to be successful if there is no mutual respect at first.

Should we expect anything positive to come from Paris, we also must value our respect.

This is the only way the relationship will ever be balanced.

I believe that we can prevail.

We only need to be united.
