Dear Linda:
Again the citizens of those countries are not storming US shores and their neighbors by boats! Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere.

Why is that! What does PR has to do with it?

The only thing preventing another nation from invading us is because there are too many poor "noir" creole to deal with. Even the Dominicans (who named their country after a traitor B. Las Casas from a dominican order) to all decendants of African slaves, seem to think they are better than us. We who delivered them from slavery.

They celebrate their independence day every year from Haiti (not from Spain) how ironic.

Black American kids when they say "you Haitian!" to another or to our kids is meant as a curse, an insult indicating you are ignorant and primitive, with a low hygiene level.

We who fought for our freedom and human dignity and they who did not seem to think they are better than us! (perhaps a lot of Haitians do not wear deodorant and they have a strong body odor from the spices they eat) Do you think that's because of bad PR or their experiences with Haitians in general.

We need to make progress, we are loosing respect all over the world.

Believe me when I say this for I have cousins in Canada, France, England, Martinique, Florida, Boston New York, even Gabon, their experiences are similar to mine. The minute you say you are Haitian you loose prestige.Bye for now!
