It is a sad day when Haitians whish Duvalier was back; with the silent fear that existed when he was around, when brother could not trust brother, sisters betrayed sisters after being tortured.

No one could trust even those they considered their best friends, etc. Let's not forget the indiscriminate killing of men, women, and children that went on under Duvalier.

This was a period that just looking at another person the wrong way could get you killed.

I know things are bad, but to call your fellow Haitians savages is so very sad. Actually, if you compare the rate of unemployment in the country to the rate of crime, you will see that the Haitian population is extremely well behave.

Just take a look at the crime rate in Jamaica, where the unemployment rate is so much lower than here.

Our people are not savages; they simply have never been fortunate enough to have intelligent and caring leaders.

Is this President any different?

The vote on that is still out.
