Fight against corruption? What a joke!!!
< Previous | Home | Next >
Haiti is not more corrupt than any of those western nations that think they are the moral leaders of the world.
In the United States, more and more CEOs, making millions of dollars a year, are getting arrested for being too greedy.
One thing is certain, Haiti is a very poor country and like the other guy was saying, there must be a minimum of well-being to pratice virtue.
Everybody would be corrupt, if they can't afford the basic necessities of life. Arresting a couple of big names also isn't a fight against corruption.
The government needs to come down on all those beggars and racketeers who control every government institution from the international airport to the DGI and so on.
A fight against corruption is a losing proposition in Haiti. The real problems need to be addressed first.
Job creation should be one of the most priorities of the government.Give the population a means to earn a decent living and there would be no need for a "fight against corruption".
God bless
