April 7, 1803: Should Not Be Forgotten Into Haitian History!

< Previous | Home | Next >

In the name of this great leader named Toussaint Louverture who had led us to the independence of our country, I want to seize the opportunity to wish you a Happy Toussaint's Day! If we are free today and if we are running a self-governing country it was the courage of that Black Great Spartacus who had developed a concept new to the New World and which concept troubled the life of Napoleon Bonaparte who killed him in return.

I wish you would not forget this day. I am inviting you to research Toussaint to understand this Great Man's legacy unknown to all Haitians and well-known in the white world.

Happy Toussaint's Day to all of you!
