you definitely make a lot of sense.

I have been telling my friends for years that once Haiti have security to return because they will be much more sucessfull there because they have the knowledge and the capital.

But many of their parents instill this fear of Haiti in them that they are scared to death of the country.

I realize that is why the bourgeois prefer the insecurity because it does keep competition away! Hopefully Martelly can put a stop to the insecurity and the expat can return home and build the country.

those bourgeois in Haiti have no reason to change but many people in the diaspora came from the mass but are better equip to succeed and has more compassion since we know know and understand hard work.

Also it seems growing up outside of Haiti make you less prejudice against poor people.

the bourgeois in Haiti have a very aristocratic attitude and tend to look down on the mass peuple but leaving outside of Haiti you encounter so much discrimination it makes you more grounded and less prejudice.
