We need to remind America that Haitians paid for their freedom with their strength and sweat, and bought the land rather than take it from its original inhabitants.
Therefore the land belongs to Haitian people and by law Haitians have the rights to every assets that is deposited in its soil. We need to start reminding people of that overlooked fact, Haitians are free people because they bought their freedom with their own money they did not wait for anyone to decide when they should be free. We paid France $124 million for loss of property and revenue, the land and the right to be free and run the country as they see fit. We need to start a movement on that fact and reinforce such fact that for over 200 years America has been undermining any success Haiti has attempted to procure.
It is evident that Americans are still annoyed at the fact that this group of black slaves dared to fight for their freedom, same way America fought for its freedom when it engaged in an independent war with England.
Are we still living in the 18th century when the belief was that black people are forbidden and prohibitted to possess any wealth.
Are Haitians undeserving of any recognition nor respect for fighting for human rights and universal rights.
We need to get this message out there loud and clear.
Haitians are entitled to human rights and universal rights and the country is entitled to its sovereignty and independence.
Haitian constitution will not be amended to pacify U.S. foreign policies because the constitution states that foreigners may not own or hold title to any land in Haiti without a native partner.
Therefore, the oil could never belong to America, according to the constitution.
Also, the original document of the constitution is England and Haitian must demand its return immediately to Haiti.
The English confiscated the document because they did not want Haitians to be privy to the clauses and articles outlined in the document.
The document was recently located in England by a student who was conducting research on the whereabouts of the document.
Alas, Haiti is free!
