Baron, I believe a Public Treaty in which America disavows economic hegemony in the Haitian economy, would be a good framework.
Haitian resources should be controlled by Haitians, not Americans.
A panel of OAS observers would ensure that cold-blooded profiteers don't hijack the program.
It's about giving Haitians a fighting chance in their own future.
I refuse to believe that America is bound by Her past to the wrong thing yet again.
I am talking about the dawning of a New Age in Haiti.
