pray for preval

I have no idea who should succeed Preval.

I did serve in a clinic across from the presidential palace.

I saw everyday from the roof where our tents were the ruins of the palace.

He and his wife barely got out alive.

The rubble from the collapsed second floor flowed out the front door behind them. Haiti was a basket case before the earthquake.

Preval had no food reserves to feed victims.

No tents to house the homeless.

The general hospital behind his palace was unusuable.

US and Spain and Haitians cared for people in tents.

Haitians helped us. Police barracks were damaged, and the police slept outside.

A lot of police were killed, injured, or missing.

Haitian translators from English or Spanish made everything we did possible.

Our medical director Dr. Abner was an inspiration to work for. Lots of people your heart ached for.

The Bible says to pray for Preval and pray for whoever succeeds him, whether it is Preval's pick, or the ex-first lady, or Sweet Mickey, or whoever.

The job is impossible to since there are no resources to do it with. And somebody has to try to do it anyway.
