I hate when so-called bonified intellectuals are incapable to stay on the issue at hand, on the subject matter.

Anytime someone starts talking about oranges, these people butt in against you by talking about apples.

First of all, Ms. ELle, Ronald Reagan was elected governor of California in 1966-1974 (2 terms).

Second, Ronald Reagan ran for president in November of 1980 and he took office in January 20, 1981.

It was 6 years between the time Reagan last held a political office prior to become president (1974 to 1980).

Third, Ms. Louis-Jean Beauje, Elle, my post was not about education, nor political experience, or anything else...

it was Purely and Simply about "Entertainment." It was about the American media that keeps referring to Sweet Micky as a "Carnaval" singer (entertainer).

And my point was, there were quite a few Americans citizens who got elevated from being entertainers to public office and I only gave a few examples by naming some of them just to prove my point.

Furthermore, I don't give a rat *ss whether Ronald Regan was governor of California, had a bachelor degree in economics from Eureka College.

FACT remains, Ronald Reagan was an Hollywood ENTERTAINER who stared in 53 films.

Oh I almost forgot, he was also a sport radio announcer.

I now realized why you have this "Rizez, ipokrit" mentality, all that is acceptable to you as long as it applies to a WHITE person who's happened to be an American.

If you, however, can pull your head out of, you know where, you would know that sweet Micky, too, did go to college, perhaps not in the country and the college that you would like, since people like you seem NOT to acknowledge that Haiti's education, during Sweet Micky's time, was far more superior than American's education.

Beside, I don't understand why all of a sudden college degree became so important to you in order to hold public office in Haiti.

You have elected Preval twice as president and here you are ready to elected Jude Celestin as president when neither one of these 2 people had a college education.

Can you please help me understand that rational?
