Anonymous,

Why do Haitians make the ambition of a Haitian citizen to become president as a "bad" thing?

I don't get that!

Only in Haiti where the presidency is available to only a certain class of Haitins.

Being president should be ALL Haitians dream, rich and poor. This is why the constitution should be scrapped because it is not worth the paper it's written on.

This is constitution was written by and for the rich and the educated.

Only in Haiti where a c9onstitution requires its citizens to own real estate and a business to be qualified to run for the presidence of their own country.

We all know who own the nice big expensive homes and own the big businesses in Haiti.

My little poor nephew will grow up in Haiti with no such ambition/hope ever.

All civilized countries have their constitution requiring their citizens to be born-citizens, be a certain age, and reside in the country for certain period of time, no more and no less. My black poor son who is a US-born has a much greater chance to become president of the United States than for my nephew to ever become even prime minister of Haiti.

This is the most disgraceful and off the wall shameful rational in the history of mankind.

And everybody is wondering why Haiti is doomed?

Haiti will never amount to nothing as long as the Haitian society is still embracing exclusivity.
