God's assistance to help Haiti

< Previous | Home | Next >

Please pass this email to the President for the Good of the Haitian people.

Like many people in the US, particularly black Americans--such as myself-we grieve at the awful problems that your country continues to suffer.

Be assured that we pray to God to touch the people of the world who can help your country in this time of drastic need. I have sent money to your country and I will encourage my church to do the same.

However, as I understand it, your predecessor, Aristide in 2003-2004 made a state pronouncement and or law change that officially stated that voodoo marriages would now be state sanctioned.

This pronouncement was an affronts to God as it (in effect) shows that your nation have elevated Voodoo to the level of Christianity.

God judges nations harshly for such actions.

Remember-Thou shall have no other God before me (or besides me).

Imagine, if you will a child who comes to his father and ask for something like 200-dollar Nike shoes (or help in my time of need) and when the father gives him what he ask, the child walks across the street to also thank the neighbor who had nothing to do with getting the shoes.

Your country is asking for help from God but has said that evil forces will be given equal status with the one true God.

Sir, since you can not serve as president again, you can take the courageous action of rescinding the law/proclamation concerning state sanctioned voodoo marriages with little political cost to yourself.

God's hand of mercy will be restored to Haiti only when the Haitian government rescinds this law.

Do not be persuaded by others who say that this law only makes legal what people are doing anyway.

Your nation is being held responsible because your nation has passed the law. If people marry in voodoo ceremonies without state sanction, only they will be held accountable to God.

I hope you will heed this advice for the sake of your country.
