TIBA, this is one of the worst government ever in Haiti's history since the GREAT U.S. DEPRESSION.

I do not like to criticize any president knowing in the case of Haiti that the power lies on the prime minister based on the Haitian constitution.

The job of the president is to watch over his prime minister management and urges prompt actions and especially in time of crisis.

An effective former Pdt like Fidel Castro would manage Haiti so well after that earthquake and the whole world would be pleased by his actions.

Preval and Bellerives are defending their paychecks and they both prove to be very incompetents.

I would love them to be judged in Haiti for their past management to make Haitian presidents accountable for their bad leadership and management as well. I do not want them to go in exile and enjoy their suspicious and stolen wealth asset.

I agree with you that both of them have no empathy for the people who are sleeping under those tents over a year. Real leadership must be tested to know if a leader is competent enough.

And when one's leadership has been tested either by men's acts or by natural forces one needs to prove that s/he is up to the task. Tiba, both of them did not have any emergency plan whatsoever and until now they still do not know what to do. It will always take the white men's leadership from America or other countries to tell moron Haitian presidents what to do.

Even the economic elites of Haiti are not pleased by this current government actions, but they cannot overthrow him under a democrat president.

Right now, the Republican elites of Haiti are living a time of uncertainty and they would feel relieved if the Republicans of the U.S. could get Obama out of power in 2012 to step up in the first place.

That is why they did not overthrow Preval and they would like him to go after the elections.

We will see how this current situation will be solved under Mirelande Manigat's leadership.

I know the RDNP has several competent people working inside this party, but I do not know for sure if they will all be on board to serve.

I cannot trust any Haitian leaders or their employees at all due to the fact they were appointed in the past by former governments to defend their paychecks and not to serve the interests of the Haitian people.

I am supporting Mirelande for her competency, leadership and her fascinating economic vision for HAITI through the LULA DA SILVA's model, but I am not sure if her capitalist model with a human face could be implemented under those conservative elites of HAITI.

The capitalism with a human face is a sociocapitalism model as first launched by Canada, British, Brazil, Israel, Russia with Putin, Venezuela with Chavez, India and China to name a few. I am skeptical about Haiti's future and I will still remain skeptical until it is proven otherwise...
