baker's movement, what is it?

I remember as a four year old that my father said: Nous sommes fouttu, Nou fini paske Dejoie perdu.

Oh oh, nou pral fume yon sigaret a deu bo. Duvalier a gagner la partie.

Haiti will never be the same again.

He was right, never Haiti was the same again.

I did not know how Haiti was before then, but through family stories and books, I have learned things were totally different.

It seems to me since Dad had said that Haiti will be smoking a cigarette on both ends. Nothing seems to be right again.

We migrated to the U.S. and other members to other parts of the world, things never been the same again.

Now, Baker shows up ofter 50 some odd years of humiliation and tribulation.

He wants to take us from the dark hole that we buried ourselves.

Baker wants to create new lights for all of us.
Baker is the new Beacon of a new Haiti.

Will the old corrupted regime, still thirsty for more blood, will let Baker's light shine?

Baker is strong, willing and able to fight, but will the untamed masses who have been abused and unaware of progress hear Beaker?

The Baker's movement is all about hope and a new direction.

People, wake-up, hear Baker: he can take you away from your misery.
