I am an American Haitian the reason I say Haitian is because my parents are from Haiti.

I was born in New York. I just don't get it. Haitians fought the French and obtain their independence in 1804 as the first Black Republic.

and yet they couldn't stop this voodoo priest to becoming president.

I blame the Haitian military and those so call tonton macoute who held the Duvaliers in power.

I don't blame the Haitian peasants, who were mostly uneducate and illerate.

every one wanted to become a macoute to steal, rape, extort, kill and mostly to be protected and yet they are a bunch of cowards.

they are the only one who could overthrow this man and his son from power.

When I look at the old pictures of Francois Duvalier from the internet and see how small and weak he was it's hard to believe how stupid the Haitian people are to not assasinate him.
