I'm glad that you are such optimistic person.

I am just a "realistic" person.

I know how the Haitian government opperates, thinks, feels, acts and reacts almost on a daily basis.

The earthquake has nothing to do with the systematic chronic organizational failure of the Haitian government.

The Katrina fiasco response in the part of the US-government was due to the fact that great percentage of the victimes were BLACKS.

If they were mostly WHITE the government response would have been different (sentiment supported by many American theorists and analysts).

What is the Haitian government excuse?

The Haitian government stayed silent and absent from the people for TWO(2) LONG WEEKS leaving the people alone all by themselves during the quake.

Imagine that happens in Nigeria!

I know just a little bit about Nigerian people because I had the privilege to work for the Nigerian government before.

Please stop minimizing the incompetence and the mediocrity of the Haitian government.

By doing so, in so many words, you are insulting Haitian people's intelligence.

It would be better not saying anything at all in lieu of coming to the defense of the Haitian government.
