Bringing attention to Bill Clinton and Haiti's Syrian/Lebanon Elites, My friend, I do not disagree with your assertions, but what can we do?
Haiti is an outcast mismanaged country well endorsed by the international community.
No matter how hard one can try to solve all Haiti's problems that will never work with the United States.
The latter is the new master of Haiti after France since 1862. The worst of that we were forced to sign a Protectorate allowing the United States to interfere into our internal affairs and put our house in order too. We can do nothing unless we call for the end of the Protectorate signed in 1915. Haiti is not an independent country as we all may believe it. Protectorate means that Haiti alone cannot decide for itself.
Haiti is an American backyard and that discourages our Rat elites to develop it. Our political status remains unclear and we do not have an independent country anymore.
Vilbrum Guillaume Sam and his successor were responsible for that. Now, we should clear our political status first before we can do something.
We should call for a Referendum and we should submit to the Haitian Congress some political choices to end the Protectorate and create our own Commonwealth version like the Puerto Ricans did it in 1952 with its adjacent islands such as Culebra, La Mona, Vieques and Puerto Rico. We should call for an Enhanced Commonwealth with Self-Governance Rights to clear this political mess.
Haiti alone will never develop its economy, not because it is limited due to its land size and technology, but the United States will never allow Haiti to develop its economy itself.
We are a victim of an imperialistic country which will not let us develop.
Once again, we are victim of our elites' racism and the international racism per se. Nou mele e nou nan kaka. Elit kaka nou an pap devlope peyi a pou Ameriken e Ameriken li menm pap devlope li pou yo tou. Nou mele! Ayiti pap janmen chanje.
Tout sa kap fe la se magouy ak demonstrasyon tankou li te ye nan lane 1915 pou rive 1934 la. Nou mele frem! Male, bon kouray tande e kenbe fem!
