$10 billion have been pledged - now what?

The international donors have pledged $10 billion for the reconstruction of Haiti.RFK -The Center for Human Rights urges the international community to ensure Haitian's input in how the money is being spent and how Haiti is being reconstructed.

A solution for the homeless is of utmost importance.

But who is watching?

more importantly, who is managing this project on a national level?

excluding the humanitarian organizations.

It is about time that a true Diaspora community should developed, something like the Jewish Diaspora.

A formation of a specific entity with laws, regulations, memberships under which the Haitian Diaspora could function in conjunction with the collaboration of the Haitian government.
