There you go again with your insults.
You just can't help it, can you?
And don't tell me that I am the one who started it. Raw insults?
I don't think.
I go to the gutters ONLY if I truly have to...
Haiti has many different layers of failures on so many levels and for so long. How could you blame, one economic group for ALL Haiti's troubles.
Black or Mulattoe elites, Haiti can't do without them. Haiti needs their money - just plain basic economics.
It is very naive to think that you can eradicate poverty by severing the head of a country's highest class.
Most country's elites are considered "evil" by reason that they are considered a privileged class; sometimes ruthless and by definition exclusionary.
Nobody likes to be outsiders and Haiti is not any different.
They may have been perversely short sighted by not investing more in Haiti even if it costs them more to do so. Haiti is where they live, It is Home.
I don't think machete justice is the answer either.
The Haitian Government should find a way to TAXED them HEAVILY and find sporadic FINES to them. The money could stay in the Country, followed by economic and political stability the country sorely needed.
The Haitian Government is NOT an innocent bystander, Puppets or not; They are the ones governing the Country and therefore they are responsible for the well beings of the Country.
So far all I can see is that the Elite class is being scapegoated.
This is coming from somebody who does not even like Elite Classes of anywhere.
Economically, they are a necessary evil. I don't understand how one can designate an international team to be an "Elite Class" of a country.
Perhaps we have different definition of what constitutes an elite class.
This statement is as exotic as saying: The Peasant Class will be replaced by foreign missionaries to Haiti...The latter does not represent any historical, economical, socio-political status that essentially made up a class of a population.
I suggest that we let Haiti Heal a little
Stay behind our government
Let the government do their job
Do Civic Duties
find innovative ways to open up new businesses
Help clean up Haiti (as a citizen)
Before finger pointing - We must look internally (requires thinking and solution finders)
It is so easy to blame the next guy.
Historically, Real changes occur at the bottom of a society NOT the other way around.
Real changes mean collective positive steps relentlessly...
