My dislike for Preval is for one thing and one thing only: His inability to address the Haitian people at a time that it was imperatively important for him to do so. Addressing a Nation, to console them, to give them words of hope and wisdom; these efforts DID NOT REQUIRE MONEY and yet still he was paralyzed.

Preval let the Hosts professionals (journalists, doctors, etc..) do his job for him: console his people.

I must agree under Preval there is less violent political crimes and I must say that Haiti did make some political progress and was on its way to a little economic upsurged before the Quake.

Elected officials of a country should be asked to be responsible for economic health of a country.
