Former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton announced a visit to Haiti to help coordinate relief.

Former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush will visit earthquake ravaged Haiti on Monday, the Clinton Foundation announced Thursday.

President Obama deputized the former heads of state to raise funds and coordinate relief missions after the January earthquake.

They formed an organization - the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund - and challenged Americans to donate.

"Presidents Clinton and Bush will meet with Haitians, the government of Haiti, and others providing assistance to earthquake survivors, with the goal of further establishing longterm recovery and rebuilding efforts," a statement released Thursday said.

Details of the trip have not been released.

The former presidents will be the most prominent Americans to visit Haiti since Secretary of State Hillary Clinton went in January.

The earthquake struck Port-au-Prince on Jan. 12 and killed some 250,000 people.
