I personally do not see anything wrong done so far. You must know Americans mentality...A project of this sort will always be done within the "Old-Boy-Network" Mode. Yes, the cultural aspect of the Plan was not salient.

I suggest that the "qualified" Haitians that you were referring to should form a coalition, present a proposal to the Clinton-Bush Team on how you guys could be an asset and tangibly enumerate your points and the would be outcomes.

We should get the help for our people, from wherever it is coming from. The Clinton-Bush Team could gently be pointed in the right direction if need be. I strongly encourage you to write that proposal and even further to join-in with other Haitian-Americans with pertinent educational background to add more political credibility and weight.You see, what works well for the Americans is that they are project-Team- oriented.

They may not necessarily trust one another, but they have one common cause: The project at hands..., They have got to succeed.
