immediate help for the haitian people

< Previous | Home | Next >

Mr. Preval, the President.

I am addressing you personally on behalf of the Haitian people, your people who have supposedly elected you not once but twice.

Can you have some personal pride, at least in the name of your family's name "Preval" to make an effort in the organization of international help for your people (ti-pep la) Perhaps you are identifying with the bourgeoisie class, but that's is your privilege.

Can you at lest take a moment to reflect on the plot of the neediest of our people as human beings?

I left Haiti as a kid under the Duvalier Regime.

I do not pretend to understand everything about your administration, but I do know one thing: Human suffering is just that, suffering:It is a universal language.

PLEASE strike a blow for the local underdogs! You CAN do it, after all you are leaving anyway.

What do you CARE?

Seize up the occasion, take some risks, gamble, act like a CHEF D'ETAT.

Make yourself known by your unique signature decisions.

2011 is not that far away. ACT NOW! These people truly need your help. There is sufficient time to act positively so that the Haitian people can fondly remember you. They need you to facilitate the flow of food, water and tents in the Capital.

There are some rumors that Jacmel needs help with local authorities getting in the way of reconstruction with the help of the Canadians...You basically have nothing to lose at this point.

Part of your wanting to be President is that you wanted to be immortalized in Haitian History.

Well, Mr. the President, if there was a good time, it is precisely NOW!
Please act positively on behalf of the poor who are suffering and the impoverished middle-class who are too burdened with unexpectedly unfair expenses.

You can do it and I am counting on you for help. You are my last hope. Thank you.
