Mirielle, Please don't misunderstand, I was raised a Catholic and so I am not a believer in Voodoo.

However, I do think that if people can believe that the white man's Christian religions can cause this Haitian desaster than they should also feel free to think that the African man's religion can cause the same thing.

So, you see, I just think the whole thing is stupid.

Although I was forced to go to church most of my life, and I went to Catholic school for at least three fourths of my life, I hate all religions.

I have read enough history on all religions to know that they are all just man made tools used to control various social groups.

If you study the bible, as I have, you will see how just within that literature there are tons of contradictions about what is supposed to be. The reason for that is that it is not a God who wrote the stupid book, but different men at different time periods, who were writing their own stupid opinions about how human beings should behave in society.

Control is what all religions are about, including Voodoo.

God has nothing to do with religion, and anyone who truly believes in that all powerful being should just hate all religions.

Regarding what you said about the fact that I only blame foreigners for the demise of my homeland: It seems to me that you have not been reading my posts for very long. Anyone who has knows that, yes, I do blame the US government, the IMF, and USAID for what has happened to Haiti.

However, and this is a big HOWEVER, I mostly blame our corrupt government and our even more corrupt and morally depraved elite.

Go back and read some of my old posts and you will see how many times I've said this.
