Haiti: A Memorandum of Understanding called "Program of the devolution of Port-au-Prince" was signed Sunday, August 28 at the Hotel Cap Lamandou, Jacmel, between the Ministry of Interior and Local Authorities (MICT) and the administrative councils of the South Pole.

A workshop for two days with representatives of eleven municipalities has enabled them to identify urgent projects that can be made within 6 months.

At the time of signing the protocol, only representatives of the municipalities of St-Jean, South Gressier and Grand Goave have signed.

A set of criteria for the feasibility project was selected by Mrs. Sabine Malebranche, a technician at the MICT. She said: "the project, project identification, reducing poverty, creating jobs faster, projects with social and economic impact on the community access to basic services, environmental effectiveness, sustainability, role of women ".

The key issue in the workshop
