Haitians who truly love Haiti will always want positive progressive change for HAITI.The kind of change that has nothing to do with self-served personal gains.
We would like the kind of change that benefits HAITI the most.
There are some very positive new blogs this today.
I do agree that Mr. Preval should finish his term, as it is a step towards national stabilization and political progress.
(no ass kicking).
I do believe that ex-presidents should be allowed to return to their homeland if they so chosen.
A humanitarian foundation formed by these ex-politicians on a volunteer-basis in alliance with the International Community could be a potential asset to Haiti.Bill Cinton could be the best bet. He has the knowledge, the experience and is himself and ex-president.Mr.Clinton seems to have a genuine emotional ties to Haiti
As for the next President, true forums should be done repeatedly before election day. The presidential candidates should have their relevant experience, expertise, curriculum vitae and their personal style of leadership and a detailed long and short-term description, graphs, money and time allocations; and a method of how He/She will measure periodically the progress of the PLAN.
In another word, A better Haiti can only happen with application of NEW methods and with the participation of ALL HAITIANS -- both living inside or outside of Haiti..
