Llyod,

Calm down before you blow a gasket.

You are insulting Haitians of lack of education, and yet, looking at the little paragraph you just wrote, if I were to grade you on it, you would have a D-.

You really have a big nerve!

You said "We don't have FRONT END LOADERS and OPERATORS to burry our
love one." Well, it's a shame because you don't seem to have the intelligence to understand the whole phenomenon of culture.

Lloyd, Haiti is not the only country in the world without this burial system.

Burial and many other systems/things/process has to do with culture.

And before you say what I think you are going to say, let me stop you and say to you that there isn't a right/wrong/perfect culture.

I really don't have the time to teach you on culture other to say that everybody thinks their culture is better/perfect than the next one.

One other thing very important you need to go back to school to learn so you can finally understand the "concept" of rich and success.

Being rich and and being successful have different meanings to everyone.

I can tell your interpretation of rich, as you referred to your wife's relatives, is having sh8t load of money and living in a mansion or a big palace, and living a luxury life style.

For someone else, owning a home and able to support himself/herself modestly, is being rich for that person.

Only in the United States that someone has to own a big mansion, palace, and living a luxury/opulent life style in order to be considered as rich and successful.

It is different in order countries.

In order countries, people live a more satisfactory life with less than Americans do and consider themselves as rich and successful

You seem to measure success on money and material things/stuffs.

Great number of people measure success on things like, for example, getting married, or having a baby, or finally graduated from college, or by maintaining a good health, etc. etc...

It is not written anywhere that all countries must live the American life and the American system.

"Shak moun-n mare bourik li jan-l konnen" (Haitian proverb).

And yes, I would agree with you that sh8ting in the back yard is lack of sanitation, but it is not primitive living.

Being unable to own certain comodities can be the result of a lack of financial assests and not being premitive.
