I think almost every Haitian in the world (especially in the Port-au-Prince area) has experienced the worst that life has to offer: The loss of loved ones. Nothing can replace these losses.

Everyone should cry for themselves and cry for each other.

I would imagine everyone continues to be in a state of shock and I think this partially explains why this eviction was contemplated.

Many are living in fear that they will lose even more. Their education, more loved ones if another earthquake hits (which is expected) and that's what is inspiring the arguing.

For the most part, Haitians have been extremely cooperative with each other in this time of great need. We are all brothers and sister.

If I hurt you, I hurt myself.

If you hurt someone, you are hurting yourself.

Even when you've lost everything, love like you've never loved before.

Give live you've never given before.

And in the midst of this hell, take a break by appreciating the beauty that is always present.

We just have to open up our hearts to see it.
