Please realize if we were in your situation I would be upset at our government too, so please don't mistake my concern for our people who were only trying to help. I think in a situation were the children were obviously allowed to be with the missionaries and were allowed to be taken to a safer and hopefully better place to get nourisment and medical care that a little red tape could have been cut I have only a broken heart for you tragedy but feel like your government slaped us in the face with their actions I never threatend you or the hatian people I simply stated that if not released I would inform my people of the injustice being done to these poor missionaries, Here in America we have the right to do that with out persocution and if that offends you sorry but I will always stand for what's right and what happend was wrong.
I do forgive your government and am releived to hear that they will be realesed thank you for your understanding I stood up and donated a large amount of money to your people unfortunatly that was all I could do if I could have had a way over there to help with rescue attemps I would have been there by your side to help save lives this is a tragic event and my heart crys for your losses but as a single father of three I can only help so much and couldn't close my buissneses and take my children there so I did what I could and that was send financial assistance I am sorry you feel threatend but hoped your government would feel and understand what they did was wrong once again thank God they are being released and I will fast with you for 3 days and pray for the healing of your country and people.
once again God bless you and your people and hope and pray for a quick recovery for your country and people I love you as I believe you and all people deserve love just as Jesus Loved and died onthe cross for all of us and our sins trust in God he has a wonderfull plan we don't understand when things like a huge earthquake or any mass tragedy happens but I do trust that something devine will come from this just look at how it united you and how it ultimatly unite we Americans to stand together to get through this tragety I literally cryed for your losess as I watch on the news once again I would like to thank your government for doing the right thing and pray they continue doing right by the people of Haiti keep your heads up and your faith in God.

That is a threat! Because your government is helping, its citizen, or anybody including the missionary have the right to remove children illegally from the country? You bastards had been long telling the world how lawless is Haiti. Your first words

Lol, Linda that was quite a punch! I wanted to say something similar but I'm trying to remain positive over the next few days. The other day you wrote a post about the abusive relationship the US has had with Haiti, I read an article on BBC about the

I agree with you that Haitians should be themselves as claimed Dr. Price Mars. Our local elites and the White men are the nuisance of Haiti. Both are responsible in our abject poverty. We should think other exit strategies to take our destiny at hand

Zac, our brothers and sisters in Haiti don't know any better. You can't blame them for not knowing; you have to blame the idiot who was supposed to be running the country. Illiteracy and ignorance is the only reason their in power, so they wont ever

Hey Zac, you're probably looking at an early edition. Try to get one of the new reprints; it should be about $30-40.

J Melchor, I find your arrongance to be the size of Canada. Please don't let it get over your pea head to the point that it will explode. Just because you claim to be an American so Haitians should start worship you or scared of you or something.
