Wyclef for president

The notion of Wyclef for president is a terrible one. I admire Wyclef because of his commitment to our beloved Haiti, I grew up listening to his music.

He's a very talented artist but talent does not mean he has the skills to lead a nation.

The problems of Haiti are many but one of them has been that we haven't had a president who can deal with the challenges Haiti faces.

Some of our presidents have had good intentions but when they got into office they were overwhelmed by the challenges.

It's evident that Wyclef loves Haiti but I don't think he has the leadership skills to lead a nation like Haiti where everything is broken, everything.

I don't think he has any intentions to run for president but if he does he needs to take the time and really educate himself about politics, management, governance and the reality of Haitian politics.

You don't have to be president to help your country.
