Saving Haiti's orphans

Dearest Prezidan Preval;

I am writting in sadness of a dear friends attempt at helping a child from Haiti by providing a loving safe home. She was denied for the sole reason of being married to a woman.

Now as a catholic I also do not agree with this as a personal choice, but would not condemn any one for their choice in life as long as it doesnt endanger somones life in any way. Which there has been no proof of same sex marrages physically or emotionaly endangering the life of anyone.

What this proves to me is that as a catholic dominant country they are willing to chance the life of a child to live in these devistating conditions and may die because of this rather than chance them living with a couple of same sex. Now this couple is raising two beautiful well mannered well behaved boys whom are not emotionally damaged in any way due to the companion choice of their mother.

Now this letter is not in hopes of changing anyones opinion or feelings in the subject of same sex marrages, but in hopes of saving more children in need of saving.

I am honored of you allowing me this time and your attention to this matter.
