Here's my plan for the rescue effort in P-A-P!!!

< Previous | Home | Next >

Whether we like it or not, the rescue mission on the ground in P-A-P needs all the space necessary to do their work faster and more efficent without any concerns, and therefore I propose the followings:

1) The Haitian government must be moved to Cap-Haitian for the time being to give time to rebuild the palace and other government building/offices.

2) The must be an evacuation plan of P-A-P which means the rescue teams must use these jumbo helicopters to airlift everybody to various parts in the country.

There is plenty of open fields where to build tent cities to house the injured and the displaced ones as well. That will make it much easier to care for everybody.

That will also create jobs.

3) Port-Au-Prince must be closed to ALL commercial flights and use Cap-Haitians as the only open port and operational airport so that Haitians and foreigners can flight to. MINUSTHA and US can use their corps of engineer to expand the airport to accomodate big planes like American Airline, etc..

etc..

they would also provide electricity 24/7 and increase the electricity grid to respond to the demand.

4) The government/Bill Clinton would encourage investors to come to Cap-Haitian and to other cities in Haiti like Gonaives, Les Cayes, St.Marc, etc. etc...

I do believe this plan would make life much easier for the rescue mission, the clean up, and the rebuilding effort of the city.
