Haiti needs to be developed in a sustainable manner.

It is not in the interest of France to exploit it. For your information the colonisations cost huge amount of funds to the colonialist nations than they brought in riches.

The records of the nations' account reveal this clearly but was never revealed until late any economists will confirm this worldwide.

Long term investments in green entreprises are needed in Haiti, to create jobs and wealth and sustain the economy.

The nation should be able to raise taxes to run essential service education and health public work etc..

It is time to change and countries around the world need to pull up their funds and expertise to lift Haiti from the ground by getting the Haitian workers to build back their own country at all levels.

Highly skills Expats from Haiti could be employed and pay US or Europeans wages in particular in construction.

Specially made building with structure to resist earthquake should be build.

Calculations to predict the resistance of the concrete and structures need to meet the worldwide standards for building safety.

making and setting concrete are very specific skills which many haitian expats have and use abroad.

They need to come back and help with the help of the richer nations.

That is called fraternity not colonialism.
