She is a federation off course.

She is a democracy no brainer.

She is a republic with an elected president.

She is also a socialist nation for nearly a century; she wasn't always so. The laissez-faire capitalism reached its abyss in 1929.
American Socialism:
1. The antitrust laws
2. The after-the-great-depression social laws: the new deal and what not:
3. The 1936 Telecommunication Act
4. The Aid to Family with dependent children act
3. Social Security Act
4. The Federal Tax refund system is a wealth redistribution system behind a curtain called EIC
5. The unemployment compensation system.

6. The 1996 Telecommunications Act
7. The Farm Subsidy Program after the dust bowl era to help poor farmers survive off your tax dollars.

8. The public housing program to put a roof over the head of uneducated low income folks off your tax dollars

All of the above are socialist wealth redistribution national programs.
