Montressor I understand your desire to establish a good relationship with the Haitian diaspora but be that as it may, it still does not change the fact that the Haitian diaspora will not be the one electing you as president.

It will be Haitian living in Haiti who will make that decision.

In the past, I know our discussions have been very contentious and antagonistic and I disagreed with your political vision then and unless you've changed your views I still disagree with them now. Maybe the only thing we have in common is that we love Haiti.

Montressor with all due respect I don't think you understand or are either aware of the reality of Haitian politic.

I think these guys would skin you alive! Good intentions is not enough when it comes to politics you need to be shrewd and you need allies.

I think for the next president to be successful he needs a majority of competent lawmakers in both chambers, e.i. a majority of lawmakers who love the country and who actually understand what their roles and responsibilities are. You don't have that, you don't have a political party.

Our system is a democratic one which means the president does not have all the powers to rule as he sees fit he has to work with the parliament and as i'm sure you can see the parliament can make the president's life miserable.
