You must almost consider many Haitians who are affected by a divisive law by simply acquiring foreign citizenships by default.

Like marriage and having at least one parent being a foreigner(like the U.S).

You mentioned trust.

Do you really believe that just a Haitian who has not had the chance to immigrate, who is now working for the haitian government loves Haiti more than an expat?

Look at it this way; Who work hard and build houses in Haiti?

Who send all his earnings to Haiti to support family and friends and his country while working on farms overseas?

who support more than 50% of Haiti's GDP?

The answer should be obiously the exats.

now who steal from Haiti's treasury and hide it in foreign banks?

who abuse, assassinate, who work for foreign government to undermine Haii's interest?

I'll let you answer this one.

So when it comes to trust, I think the record is clear.

Haiti and those left behind have much to gain from the dual citizenship.

It is a moral issue at this point.

I don't hear anyone say that diaspora's money is no good. If the diaspora does not love haiti, why are they sending money?

Why accepting money from them?
