If Haitian government fails to file charge- and makes an extradition request upon their releases- against these convicts for their crimes committed on the Haitian soil, they may, unfortunately, become illegible for obtaining their GREEN CARDS, and subsequently become U.S. citizens.

The fact is the matter of their safety.

U.S. will not deport them if they face "double jeopardy", or convinced they might be murdered in Haiti.

If the Haitian government builds a strong case against them and makes a valid deportation request, these convicts may spend the rest of their lives in prisons.
