Court forces Google to tell model Liskula Cohen identity of blogger that called her 'skank'

A Vogue covergirl has confronted - and forgiven - the anonymous blogger who trashed her as a "skank" and a "ho" on a special Web site.

Liskula Cohen, who sued Google to find out who was behind the catty "Skanks in NYC" Web site, told "Good Morning America" Wednesday she called her online tormentor as soon as she got the mystery blogger's personal information.

"I said, 'I just want you to know that if I've ever done anything to you to actually deserve this, that I'm really very sorry.

I'm sincerely apologetic,'" Cohen said.

Cohen, 37, said she forgives the mean-spirited blogger, dismissively describing her as "that girl who was always there" whenever she went to a party or a restaurant.

"She's an irrelevant person in my life," Cohen said.

The blonde beauty had filed suit in January after pictures of her appeared on the now-shuttered Web site that branded her as an over-the-hill "skank" with Mr. Ed-like looks who is "psychotic, lying, whoring."

Asked why she fought so hard to find out who was tormenting her, Cohen said: "Why would anybody let it go?

If somebody attacks (you) on the street, you're not going to let it go."

Anne Salisbury, a lawyer for the blogger, argued that the raunchy digs at the model were nothing more than "youthful, jocular, slangy" terms that - like "sleazebag," "slime" and "pimp" - are protected by the courts.

Cohen said she has not ruled out suing the blogger, whose name she would not divulge.

The blogger did not respond to e-mails sent to her yahoo.com address.

"I know who it is, I know why she did it," Cohen said. "She doesn't have anything else to do. It's sad."
