Well well well I never thought I would be defending Tiba but I am. I think this is really nonsense this debate about foreigner and haitians even though Tiba called me the other day a condescending UN traitor--and now Tiba is being caslled a traitor-- now you see what I was saying about it...Any way it is gone. Supposedly I am a Swiss Citizen and I have not been to Haiti for 30 years but that does not make me less Haitian than Mark or Bougui or Bizarre.
Not once and I mean not once I have refrained myself from helping my country whether by mentoring a young Haitian at the UN, PNUD or taking part in a pressure group in Geneva to return Haitian money back to Haiti.
This crap of double nationality is a way to keep us out of the country and to keep on having those deputies, senators and ministers like the kind we have now in Haiti.
Tiba and all CO what we need is pressure group to lobby the Government of Haiti to restore Citizenship to every single one of us and allow us to take part in the development of our nation.
Any time I have to go and inaugurate a school, a clinic, a park, a woman center, a children quarter, an Hydro elctric plant, a water fountain any where in Africa or South America I feel my heart heavy and I feel sad because I know that my country needs those.
I remember I mention this Housing project we built in Goma and those poor Africans were scared to move in, I swear if I could lift it, put it on my back and take it to Haiti I would and I goddddd..swear I would
