Bizarre, the business of politics is a dirty game. I am not sure if a Godly man would have the stomach to withstand the day to day corruption of the Haitian government.

The kind of leadership Haiti needs would require someone to come in and start making tough decisions.

Just like you I am a christian, but I don't think the government should sanction the practice of voodoo.

That is my personal feeling, but I would not impose them on anyone.

The government should be neutral from religion, and there is a wisdom in that. By doing so the governement will be able to avoid the perception of being partial to one particular religion.

If goverment leans towards a specific religion, then there will be a segment of the population who will feel neglected.

You have to keep in mind that the government is suppose to govern all, therefore it must do everything to be inclusive.
