Very condescending tone because for a moment I thought you were a foreigner.

I'm sorry, but there are more reasons than these 2 you mentioned why so many Haitians refuse to go back to Haiti.

Many of those Haitians have no one in their families left in Haiti, etc...

You have not put foot in Haiti in 30 years, and yet, you know that half a million of Haitians don't want to go back to Haiti because of security and voodoo, wow!

Latousen, voodoo is so wide spread in Haiti because of people like you with influence and power and resources but categorically refuse to help the incompetent and medicore government to create jobs and opportunities for the Haitian people.

Voodoo and security are not the problems Haiti is faced with but people like yourself who constitute a big barrier to Haiti's progress as well.

Oh, one other thing Latousen, speaking of insecurity, Haiti is the safest island in the entire Caribbean.

And Haiti is the safest place than New York City which has almost an equal population with Haiti, but no one is afraid going to New York City, do they?

Isn't that ironic?

You and many other Haitians vowed to keep enforcing this well orchestreted conspiracy theory against Haiti by US, UN, and France.

Jamaica had held firm its #1 crime rank of the Caribbean until a few months ago to (I cannot remember the island that has just crowned #1 in crime/insecurity) of the Caribeean.

Nontheless, Jaimaca is #2 in crime/insecurity and voodoo is widely practiced in that Caribbean island, and yet, there is no word of anyone afraid going to Jamaica or tourists being afraid to vacationing in Jamaica or anyone being going on their honeymoons in Jamaica.

The strange thing about it all is that, not once, US government ever issued a travel warning or restrcition to Americans travelling to Jamaica or asking Americans bluntly to stay away from Jamaica due to its high crime/insecurity.

But amazingly enough, one person gets killed in Haiti, it's bad enough for Washington to call on ALL Americans to avoid traveling to Haiti at all cost.

In fact, Haiti has been under travel restrction for decades which means visitors/tourists do not travel to Haiti because of the travel restriction/warning/sanction put in place aginst Haiti.

What do you say about that Mr. United Nations, Latousen?
