Linda please do me a big favor provide me with a list of authentic Haitian historians and other credible authors who have written about Haitian history that you know. I've already ordered the two titles you gave me: C.L.R. James, and Michel-Rolph Trouillot.

By the way, I usually do a little research on a writer before I start reading his work. I found that Trouillot got his PhD from John Hopkins University.

It was one of the schools I looked at.

Have you read any of the works of Edwidge Danticat?

I plan on reading some of her works, I'm very intrigued by her.

Are you Edwidge Danticat?

the thought just crossed my mind, who knows you might be her using a pseudonym.

But I bet you wouldn't tell me.
