Zac

I had just responded to your second message about Toussaint being a coward, but quite not sure I did a good job, I seem to ramble a lot and lost track of the question.

Okay, here it is! Zac I don't know if you know this but Toussaint was a privileged slave.

He lived in his master's mansion eating the same food his master eats. He was his master's carriage conductor, which is equal to "personal shauffeur" of today.

While Tousaint was living an easy life inside of his master's house, Dessalines and all the other slaves were working in the cotton fields from sunrise to sun down and got beat up for any sign of fatigue.

Toussaint could not have stood up to his measter for anything and about anything because he was too close to his master.

Toussaint had the privilege to listen to his master having conversations with other masters during visit or meetings in the house.

Toussaint got arrested and got his *ss shipped to France where he died, not because he had stood up to his master for something.

He got arrested because he got caught passing important information he got from listing to his master's conversations with other masters during meetings or cordial visits, to Dessalines and the other slaves who were working on and coordinating the revolt.

He was arrested for betraying the trust and loyalty of his master and was charged with treason.

Do I make any sense to you now?
