Tiba pep Haitian malad juste nan zo. Their archaic way of thinking is holding the nation back while most of the other countries in the Caribbean are moving forward.

Somebody needs to do something about the antiquated, deficient school system in Haiti because I think it all boils down to the education they receive in school.

You're right man it's a real shame.

The only comfort is, when most of them are spewing their nonsense they do it in Creole.

Foreigners don't understand their babble in Creole.

And you know what's even worst, they are being informed; they're being informed by ignorant fools.

It's really not a lack of information, it's misinformation.

In most societies it's the educated, the intelligent, the sophisticated that educates the people.

I think it's the complete opposite in Haitian society.

It's the proverbial case of the blind leading the blind.

The school system is deficient, the Haitian media is deficient, the Haitian entertainment industry is deficient.

Politik menm se pa pale! Tiba ka grave.

The other problem is most Haitians tend to gravitate towards nonsense and garbage.

If you get a radio host talking about garbage everyday, they will listen it. I bet if you get someone who's educated to talk to them about useful information so they may enlighten themselves they won't listen to it.

Some of them are so entrenched in ignorance that you can't really do anything for them. I usually shake my head and keep moving.

The only solution is to try to save the young.
