Rev. Wilkesse Dorcinvil
Reverand, no disrespect, but last time I chacked those so-called pastors/minister/reverands were the biggest beneficiaries of Haiti's misery and calaminy.
These people are the ones who go around the globe putting Haiti down as the empire of all evil, a country run by the satan, the devil as a way to get money from the white master, and they do get a lot of money from the white master.
Secondly, understand that there are many Haitian would would love to go back to Haiti to work in the rebuilding of their country.
There is one thing many of you do not understand and probably will never understand is that there is no infrastructure in place in Haiti that would encourage such initiative.
For example, I spent some time in Haiti 2 months ago, and without any exageration, I saw electricity just one day from 10 AM to 5 PM. and that was in Port-Au-Prince.
No one would want to live in the dark, this not the dark ages. There is no sanitation, no drinking water, no telecommunication, etc...
etc...
This is not the environment anyone would want to live in just to prove your loyalty and patriotism to a country.
To work in the development of a country you have to have at least the basic infrastructure to build on. For example, how much can you do and accomplish without electricity 24/7?
What about being able to drink safe water working in that intense sunny heat?
Until the environment provides some basic infrastructure it will always be difficult for Haitians to go back to Haiti to work in the rebuilding of their country.
At least that's how I see it.
