We are not saying that the people in the Dominican Republic do
With respect to The whole story about the haitian that was killed, We are not saying that the people in the Dominican Republic do not like Haitians. The issue is whether or not there is a judicial system in the D.R. In civilized countries, the government is in charge of providing judicial services not the people.
What we have seen in the D.R. is the linching of a human being by a mob and nobody has been charged of any crime even though that was a public act perpetrated in the presence of tens of people.
No police intervention was registered and nobody has been arrested.
Do you think that was a civilized way to apply justice?
Where I am from, people are arrested by the police, judge and punished by a court.
This is not what we observed in both cases: the Haitian who killed his boss and the mob who mutilated this Haitian.
Sorry D.R., that was not a plus for you. It shows that you still have a long way to go before you are able to be classified among the civilized countries.
The topic is: I got cut off by Haitian embassy in D. C.
