Zac, Zac, Zac,
C'mon! don't do me like that. My job is to challenge through critical thinking.
Go over both of his messages and read between the lines of his statements you will then realize he is defending the Dominicans racist, hatred sentiment against Haitians.
Zac, when a person is minimizing the magtitude significance of an issue, that person is indeed defending the issue.
I do agree, however, that every country on the planet reserve the rights to protect their borders and deport at will anyone living in their country illegally.
We all can agree that the U.S. racist immigrtation policy targets mostly Haitians, and it is wrong and racist when U.S. deporting Haitians in mass, but American citizens don't beat them up and beheading them in public places either.
American citizens don't hunt Haitians down to harm them and inflect pain on them.
I could say that NOT ALL Americans are against Haitians because there were many times when Americans citizens took the streets in protest supporting Haitian refugees.
The American citizens demanded that the government accept the Haitian refugees as it accepted the Cubans or not accepting either.
As you know that intervention of the American people forced many sfifts to the U.S. immigration laws.
My accusation of ALL Dominicans as being the same is based on the premise of their silence.
If majority of Dominicans was really against the bad treatment Haitians are getting in their country, they would stand up against it. They would take the streets in protest supporting the Haitians and calling on their government to stop the violence perpetrated on Haitians and call to protect all people, legal and illegal, Haitians and others.
Zac, for example, according to the law, if you choose to stand by on the side walk watching a crime being committed and you don't make any attempt to stop it, at least by calling 911, then you are as guilty as the perpetrators.
In that premise, all Dominicans are the same because they are standing by and watch all acts of violence being committed on Haitians and they do nothing to stop it.
Do you now understand my argument or my drift?
