There's something called social grace, which most head of states have. Actually, anyone with basic social manners would know that you don't do what Preval did. Grabbing someone's arm to get their attention is something that is done only between close friends and family members.

It is not something that is done in any formal gathering with people you don't know, let alone with the leader of the free world.

This is not the idiot's cousin Ti Chales that he had not seen in a while; this is the President of the United States.

And for those of you who want to pretend that Obama simply did not notice that Preval was trying to get his attention: When was the last time someone grabbed your arm and you did not notice it?

I guess there are none so blind as those who refuse to see. As for wanting an apology from the White House, I happen to think it is the opposite that should happen.

I think that the only way for all Haitians not to be put in the same low category as Preval is for as many of us as possible to call or write to the White House and apologize for this Ti SouSou's behavior.

Right now we have been humiliated in from of the whole world, and we deserved it. We have no one but ourselves to blame for allowing this low life to be our President.
